Graceful Embrace

After visiting the client’s home, and inspired by their love for hosting and human connections, Niall designed a unique coffee table; a focal point that seamlessly merges comfort, functionality, and an invitation to make yourself comfortable, right in front of the fire. Niall sourced recycled Rimu, a protected timber species from New Zealand, with a unique grain pattern.

The design evolved until it could fit perfectly into the intimate space allocated for it, between the fire and the couch. The uniquely designed kidney-bean shape inspires freedom of movement and harmony, and with the perfect placement, it took centre stage in the living room. The solid, thick structure, adorned with intricately carved curves, dances with light and shadows created by the fire, transforming this piece into a cosy yet functional masterpiece.

Graceful Embrace narrates hundreds of stories woven into every curve, every shadow and every bounce of light—placed at an intimate location in our client's new home, this piece will be part of countless reunions between close friends and loved ones, and it will be a constant reminder of the memories it will embrace.
