A masterfully crafted tribute to heritage and home, Commissioned for an Irish expatriate in New Zealand, this majestic circular Oak table seamlessly blends the essence of the two countries.

The 1.8m diameter table, comprised of 29 precisely arranged segments, draws attention towards its centre. Here, the traditional Celtic knot is embossed, captivating the play of light and shadows in the room. The Celtic knot design represents the might of the Oak tree, it represents Ireland, and it also echoes strength; a sentiment beautifully setting the stage for a symphony of cultural narratives.

Resting on a formidable base made from locally sourced heritage steel pipes, remnants of New Zealand's gold mining era, the table becomes a meeting point for two countries and their histories. The steel base, expertly customised by Hazweld Bespoke Fabrication, breathes new life into a century-old artefact.

Designed in collaboration with the client, this mighty Oak table not only reflects our client’s roots and personality but also shows respect for the heritage in his land and current home.
