Time Dedicated to You

This peace represents patience, dedication and the quiet beauty that only time can create.

Crafted using the traditional Japanese Kumiko technique, hundreds of precisely cut pieces come together to form a delicate pattern. White oak and ancient bog oak were chosen for this piece; one is light, the other almost black. Both are the same species of timber, their only difference being time. The bog oak spent thousands of years buried beneath the earth, just a few miles from our workshop, where nature slowly transformed its colour.

Designed as a lectern for public speaking, it was intended to enhance the speaker, much like a well-tailored suit or elegant dress. Light and refined, it is the opposite of a rigid structure to hide behind. Instead, it supports the speaker without taking the spotlight, inspiring confidence, presence and connection with the audience.

Time Dedicated to You is a celebration of craftsmanship, patience, and the belief that the most meaningful things cannot be rushed.
